Grandpa & Grandma Nelson in Australia

The boys were super excited to have their grandparents fly across the world to come visit them for their school holidays after they finished term three. It was nice not to worry about school, so we could focus on having fun with family.

We went everywhere, all around Sydney, to zoos, museums, parks, beaches, restaurants, Sydney Tower Eye and ended the trip at Luna Park. It was a fun two weeks, and the boys were so sad to see their grandparents leave. Saying goodbye is so hard.

One of the first places we visited was the mini zoo right near our home.

Playing on the beach is a must here in Sydney. We went to both Manly and Bondi Beach.

Bondi Beach is so beautiful. I absolutely love visiting this beach in the springtime because it wasn't crowded and we were able to enjoy a warm day on the beach in peace!

Luna Park is a fun place to have fun as a family! Look at these two, whoot whoot!

Stan is always ready for a thrill. He is a daredevil and loves the big rides. I was happy to watch and take photos of him going up and down and all around on this one!

This is a lovely photo of Mom and Dad Nelson at the Hyde Park fountains in the heart of Sydney.

These fountains are also where George had enough of walking around the city and threw his shoe into the water and giggled himself silly. I couldn't be mad, and had to share a few giggles with him because it was really funny.

Good thing Grandpa was quick and retrieved the shoe before is floated beyond our reach. George climbed into the back of the pram for the rest of the walkabout because his shoe was now too wet to wear.

If you look past these sail boats into the Sydney Harbour, you will see the spot where we saw wild dolphin swimming as we were riding on the Ferry on our way to Mort Bay Park for the boys' soccer training.

I was so excited when I saw these beautiful creatures swimming next to the boat that I screamed and pointed. It was lucky that we were already sitting outside and were in the perfect location to spot these gorgeous animals as soon as the captain announced them on the intercom. We all saw them, even my boys. It was a highlight for me!

Thanks for coming to visit us. We all had a wonderful time. We love you!
