Gregory turns Twelve... 12!

This is the last year before he's officially a teen. I cannot believe it. My sweet little boy. The one that was never going to grow up. My first born. My first baby. He cannot be turning twelve but it's true. My baby boy is not so baby anymore. ... I just had to wipe away some tears. Holy moly... this is just hitting me so hard. They all will do this. All four of my sweet baby boys will grow up. Then what? My life is them.

To celebrate Gregory's birthday we have done several things. First, we bought George and Gregory phones. I couldn't get Gregory and phone and not George so it couldn't be a birthday gift because George got one too but they did both get phones mostly because Gregory is turning twelve and going to middle school at the end of summer. He needs a phone.

On his birthday, I got up early and went to the store and got him a big balloon, chocolate milk and donuts. I had to work that day but later on we went to Sonic me and the boys then we went shopping and bought him a bunch of new clothes. Somehow all the boys ended up getting a few new things. Gregory is so sweet and was happy that everyone got stuff. He's a great boy!

Then the next day, we took the family and Gregory's friend to The Olive Garden for dinner. That was super fun. A family favorite for sure!

Today the fun continued... we took the family to the old Seven Peaks! It's now called Summit Splash. It was the perfect day. We had the BEST time. It wasn't crowded at all because of COVID-19 so we just walked on rides. We went on the rides over and over again while Tiberius and Daddy slept on the pool chairs. They had a nice long nap. Before Tiber fell asleep I hung out with him, and Stan took William on rides on the tube and Gregory and George also had a double tube and they just ran on rides over and over all day. Then William and I went on rides over and over while Stan and Tiber slept. When they woke up, William, Tiberius and I went to the baby pool. We had so much fun there too. It's fun for William to still be little. He was so brave to go on all the rides, but then we had 2-3 hours to just be little again. There are a few small pools with slides and so the three of us just had a fun time swimming and going down slides. I really had fun there too! I was the only adult doing it, going on slides, the other were sitting on chairs watching their kids, that's totally cool but man I feel like they were missing out on so much fun. Tiber would only go down on my lap so I had a good excuse to go on the baby slides. They actually went pretty fast, well on of them was awesome. The others were not at fast so we just kept to the fast one mostly.

Anyway, Gregory loved it. He said that it was the best day ever!! Glad he had fun. I'm glad that everyone had fun. Such a fun family day!

Tomorrow we will have cake and ice cream with grandparents and aunts and uncles. So the party will continue! I always like to celebrate for a week instead of a day! Gotta use all the excuses I can come up with to have fun with my family.
