Summer 2020

Covid -19 came and we stayed home for about 8 weeks without doing anything. I still, 4 months later, don't bring the kids out very often. So instead of just sitting around all summer, we decided to make it fun and social distance ourselves as much as we can. We did a great job. We didn't get sick. We had a great summer - one of the best!

At the beginning of the summer, we went on a couple hikes with the Plothow's. Good way to get outdoors, and get some exercise! This hike is called 5 bridges it eventually gets you to the top of Squaw Peak but we just got to the Fifth Bridge.

On this hike up Big Springs we ended up finding a large cement tube with water flowing through it so all the boys rather play in that then hike - fun afternoon.

Camping at the Wedge - very beautiful and a fun discovery!

Baseball! George made a competitive team and after an awesome Spring and Summer league he made another traveling team with a year round indoor facility. He's loving it and doing great!

Lots of swimming - the old 7 Peaks had a crazy deal for $20 season passes so we bought them and had a blast!

I absolutely love Elk Ridge summer sunsets!

We finally got this canoe on the lake! Super nice day in the Unitas.

We made it this summer to the beach - Santa Barbara just became a new family tradition!

Stan learned to hunt, he bought all the gear, and now needs motorbikes to get deep into the forests where the Elk live. I think a couple motorbikes are in our future!

Gregory's team won FIRST place at the Utah Cup this summer. It was pretty amazing!

We, as a family, added a new flower garden this summer along the fence. It was fun to see these plants and bushes grow and flower all summer long.

I got to hangout with my sisters a bunch this summer. I'll never turn down a pedicure!

Stan took his telescope outside and showed the boys some planets a couple times this summer. It's actually dark outside but my camera has a nice night feature so I was able to get this photo!
