Camping at the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forests
Stan has been on the lookout for new camping sites to take our family. He wants our boys to grow up camping, hiking, and fishing. The only problem is that all the normal camping spots are over crowded and full of camper vans and RVs. We want the primitive experience without anyone else around. Stan recently discovered what's call dispersed camping. You can camp in National Forests, there are some guidelines, but they are easy to follow. There is a map that outlines a lot of dirt roads and it indicates where dispersed camping is allowed. Last weekend we followed this map and went to the end of the road and camped at the most primitive gorgeous spot and had the place to ourselves. It was just us and the bears. We actually didn't see any bears but we went so deep into the forest I am sure that this is where the bears live.
Here are a couple photos from our adventure! We love camping!!
